The place where you live has an address number. Such as 1234 Hickory St, Anywhere U.S.A. How do you find out the address number of a piticular piece of property? You know what street the property is on, but you want to find out the address, like for the postal service.

Check out the plat maps at the local courthouse or; check the maps with your county property appraiser or; see if your county has an on-line mapping system such as GIS. You should be able to zoom right in and see the address.

If it is vacant land it may not have an address. If you are planning to build check with the post office to get an assigned address.

If it has a structure for living - again the Post Office would be a good place to start. Other sources (say you know the legal plot number) would be the property recorder's office (generally the county court house). They might even have the info on-line. If you know the owner's name you should also be able to find the address by checking the recorder's records for that owner.

Well it will take a little effort by you. You have to use some skill, all address's are all odd number address is on either the north side or the west side of the street remember that. if in your area you could drive by and note the known address to either side. Then visit your local public library and in the reference section they will have "bresser" cross directory by state & area. You then look up by street and find the address needed!!! this will also at times list unpublished phone info also. If that property is to far away then still use the above info but you then could use "google earth" may have to download it, but it is free, and plug in the know street address and you can figure the rest. Hope this helps
