Perspective is a wonderful thing. Example some would say it was a good thing we went in there due to the fact that he violated every resolution that the UN passed and the fact that we did find Serin Gas and Mustard Gas 2 types of biological weapons that could kill millions and that we got a dictator out of power known for killing 200,000 of his own people in mass graves sites throughout Iraq and show you the pictures of the new structures and the women voting and the new freedoms they have.

The otherside will tell you it is bad because 3242 American Soldiers died in this war and there were many civilian Casualties that were due to insurgents who were for the old regeim or due to religous difference from the new administration in Iraq and that the only reason that we are there is for oil and we really don't care about the people over there and that it could of been resolved peacefully. Then they will show you those who don't want us in Iraq and make you sympathize with them.

Is either answer the truth sure. Is either side the whole truth no.

but if you only look at one side you will think the otherside is full of loonies.

It's my opinion that he is just a byproduct of our loony culture. Sadly, his actions represents the worst of the US; greed, apathy, ruthlessness, ignorance, self righteousness and arrogance. I say this because we voted for him twice then stood by with our heads in the sand and let him get away with murder. The US culture does little to support awareness and global civic duty. People are more concerned about how many songs they have on their ipod to know that thousands die needlessly around the world. This ignorance or apathy supports the extremists' message and the people in the areas ravished by war, corruption and environmental deterioration are easily swayed to follow them. They're lives had been so bitter and hopeless for so long as soon as someone says there is a way to raise above it, they ready to follow anybody. With all of our resources and abilities I don't understand why we're not the ones they see, hear and follow first. If we can move thousands of troops to a fruitless killing field we should be able to mobilize support and resources to the parts of the world that need it the most. Peace isn't free but it's much cheaper and pays larger dividends.

Have you asked Sadam, Hitler, and all the other dictators who waged war and genocide.
When did you wear the shoes of presidency before. They are awful big and remember both Democrats and Republicans voted for war and had the same intelligence.
Take off the Rosy colored glasses the world is dangerous and be glad you sit in peace looking out the window.

He bases his decisions on 2 things, Ego and Money. If killing over 3000 troops to support HIS war still makes him money, then so be it.

Remember, he was the one who said after his second so called victory into the white house " God wanted me to be president." If that doesnt scare you...

If a Democrat were in charge you would be singing praises. Peace is the RESULT of war. The threat of war is what keeps the peace.
