I would like to add some biology for everybody that does not know that a baby is not in the uterus but is surrounded by a protective covering in which they develop which is located in the uterus, when a baby is present it is a womb when a baby is not there it is just a uterus.

I would also like to add that a organs system is a part of a person that keeps them alive, if you remove a womb and baby the woman can still live, but if you detroy the womb the baby cannot survive therefore the womb is a system that is essential for the ongoing life of the fetus thus it belongs to the baby as part of the babies bodily systems. Its the babies shelter and food source. Now any woman that still thinks it her body part must think of the baby as a parasite.

all laws are not right and that is why many have been changed over the years. Live starts at conception, proof: if you take a fertilized egg from the woman another woman can carry the baby thus proving that that egg already had the blueprints done and construction is set.

And yes your right the world is cruel and killing babies doesn't help. Imagine if you were aborted. Imagine if the person that would of cured Aids had already been aborted, and my final comment is that I can't believe the large % of people that just don't value life. I believe in Karma and many of you have a lot to pay for.

I believe it ceases to be totally their body the SECOND there is another organism(the baby) growing inside it, and I believe many women are excrably selfish on this score. Any woman who would abort for no reason of health deserves to die along with the baby. and for those who would use the excuse of rape, the baby didn't rape you, and it's not his/her fault you were raped, so they don't deserve to die for it.

This question is a waste of time where you, the one posing the question, are prochoice or prolife the fact of the matter is abortions will never stop.
Personal I view it as the womans choice and that law states such. Secondly I would have no desire to bring a child in to this world filled with such ignorance, violence and hatred. Third at what point does the entitity become a living being?
For me just because the egg was is fertilized doesnt making it a human being. Actually living doesnt make you a human being either but thats another issue.

no matter whose it biologically belongs to the bay is still a person and even though the mother has the right to do what she wants, she shouldn't be able to take the life away from another person.
our Constitution says that a person can do anything they want as long as they don't infringe upon the rights of another person. Yes a women has a right to do what ever she wants, an abortion is infringing upon the child's right to live.
A woman also has the right to keep her legs closed, and to use a condom, and to get birth control and to abstain from sex. Aborting a baby is selfish, and irresponsible

I hate it when women defend abortion by saying it's their body. If you are so respectful of your body you would take the proper precautions against getting pregnant; especially if it is not the right time for you to do so. Abortion in MOST cases is a cop out. The womb belongs to the mother and it can be a vessel to bring a human being into the world. That's why we should be more careful of what we put our bodies through if we know we won't like the consequences.

The womans because it stays with her but is there for the babies survival unless you pay some doctor to destroy it. Besides doesn't the baby have its own body. It may be in you but it still contains a different set of HUMAN DNA. You are just a shelter to it, it is not a parasite. Besides there are plenty of laws that tell you you can't do certain things with your body.

The womb is part of the mother. The baby isn't. The baby's body belongs to him/her, an entirely separate human being, and that is who is destroyed in abortion.

Theirs. And generally, women (and men) are not "for abortion." Concerned people are for the woman's right to choose and not be told what to do by someone else based on their own different moral and/or religious beliefs.
Assholes in Texas are thinking about giving women $500 not to have an abortion. How stupid is that?

To me, I think abortion is murder. A fetus is the beginning of the many stages of life. However, I can't dictate and/or force my beliefs on others. A woman should be able to decide for herself what is best for her own body. It's a double edged sword.

I would say that since it stays with the woman after the baby is born, that its the woman's. The baby can keep the placenta though.
