Obviously, I didn't relise the city is so small. I was planning to go there by Eurostar and book the hotel seperately on the internet . I really wanted to know if it would be easy to find my way from the station to the hotel.

Walking is the best way to get around. We did take a horse and carriage ride around one day and that was a nice way to see it as well.

Bruges is tiny - do it on foot or take a boat trip through the canals! buy lots of chocs!

Its a tiny medieval city, so unless you want to park in one of the five new car parks which are underground, i suggest foot.
