Fruit is perfectly acceptable for a ferret! The vitamins are essential in any animal's diet. Ferrets are actually omnivores and fruits and veggies are always a great little treat. One thing to consider is to not go crazy on acidic fruits like oranges and tangerines because they can give him diarrhea.

There is actually a ferret treat that has kibble and dried fruit bits mixed together, and my ferrets love it!! Just don't give them too much, or their poo will really stink!

Fruits aren't all that good for ferrets. I would suggest giving him a little bit.

Research on the Internet what you can and can not feed your ferret. It is better to deny him something than to kill him with kindness.
