What are the good suburbs south of Seattle, closer to Tacoma?

My boyfriend will be stationed at Fort Lewis, so I'd like to live in between there and Seattle so I can look for jobs in both Tacoma and Seattle. Thanks!

Renton is just south of Seattle. Some good neighborhoods, but shop around. Good schools too. Boeing is currently hiring.

Try Federal Way or Auburn.
