I plead with my stereo system to work every time I turn it on. I actually plead with it. It usually seems to work once I start begging.

OK this is so weird but it's true....
Sometimes while I am driving I will think of a really old song, one that is not played on the radio anymore and then I change the channel and the song is on.
It never happens when I want it to, it creeps me out!

When I used to play competitve basketball, 25 years ago there were times I could will the ball to go in from anywhere.

Yes. When the store is slow I imagine walking around picking up money. In no time at all a good sale will walk in.

like Kirah, i seem to have a 'mental request line.' some song in my head is sure to be the 1st or 2nd on played on air when i turn on a radio. well, not "sure" to be, but so often that there's more to it than mere coincidence, considering how many songs get on the air.
