If I have argued tooth and nail on the subjected, and I am wrong saying sorry is like shooting myself in foot, but if I am wrong I had not foot to stand on than it flows of the tongue

I don't think it is bad to say sorry as long as you mean it. Also it should be a good reason to say sorry.
