I always do. A few say they do but they don't. I have crutches now and i noticed people still don't bother. It's funny, I think they admire seeing someone injured opening a door.

Always! Sometimes it's because it's a little old lady, sometimes it's because it is a young lady, sometimes it's because it's a man, sometimes it's because it is a child. Either way they just might be an angle! Or, at least somebodies angle. That and my seven sisters beat it into me very early in life.

It also gives me an extra minute to see how they react, and if they are appreciative or simply expect it. I recall in the late '60's and early '70's when you were aften chewed out by females because "I can open my own door". I hope that those ladies with the poor attitude are getting someone to take care of their many needs now that it is in the 2000's, and the clock is still ticking.
