Aunt Lala is right. Those 3 mountains in the Nepalese and Pakistan Himalayas have the highest elevation above sea level.

However, the tallest mountain from base to summit is Mt. McKinley (also called Denali) in Alaska in the US although it is only 6194 meters above sea level (20, 320 feet). That is because the bases of the Himalayan peaks start at a higher elevation than McKinley so technically you would have to climb less elevation to go from bottom to top than on McKinley.

Also, Mauna Kea, a volcanic peak in Hawaii is 10,203 meters from its base on the floor of the ocean to its summit but its summit is much lower than the Himalayas.
