Sure there are jobs that don't pay minimum wage. Heck, the McD's by my house pays over minimum! A better question is; "are there any jobs that pay a LIVEABLE wage?"
...and there are.
-construction...but it's seasonal
-grocery store...although not right away
-truck driver (and the union truck drivers for grocery stores in Chicago make over $50k)
-some sales jobs, but more often they are the "pyramid" or "multi level" types.
But the room for advancement for someone without a college education has pretty-much evaporated nowdays--EVEN IF you wouldn't really need it. Companies think you've got more drive if you've put in the extra years, if nothing else
If you can find a way, get some sort of degree--even if it's a 2 year.

Hello,
I hope this helps? I have done many things in my life that include; Television, Opened Businesses, Offered classes @ schools and colleges, and met many great people that include partners of Donald Trump. Just to name a few.
By no means am I telling you how good I am, but what I will tell you is that I am a high school drop out. The one thing i have always believed is that the only people who limit you from anything like money, success, etc is yourself.
So do not ever ask what kind of job can I get, or limits I have. Take what you have, master it, and rule the world. You can do it.....

Yeah I am sure there are jobs out there. More than minimum wage? Well, I am working on my degree right now and am paid a good amount more than minimum wage...but I am also in school and about to graduate; and I work in a field that I have had many years of experience in as well.

There are a lot of jobs you can get. You have to first decide what field you want to get into. You may have to work your way up.

Probably just working for yourself. Most places you have to start at the bottom and climb your way up, but then there is never any promise. Jennifer
