Ive been playing for about two-three months, and I can pick really fast...just to give u an idea..i can play the fast part in system of a down's "question!" perfectly, and i can play slayer's raining blood...pefectly..
is it just easy to pick fast or am i good?

i play two hours a week...and i have rythem as well...i just found out what i can pick fast--i was a drummer since the age of 6

Sigh, the naitivity of youth... I have been playing for a year and can barely pick my nose! You are gifted! Keep practicing and go for it! But remember Lt Data, you have to have the "emotional" side of the song too.

it depends on how much you practice every day.... you can't really gauge how good someone is based on what songs they can play.... some great guitarists might have taken a year in their time to learn those songs because they didn't practice much... songs also aren't a good gauge of talent because some people would never play those songs and only ever play blues, which can't be compared with other music very well. I'd say if you only practice an hour or so a day, you cold be decent, but like i said, you can't really tell
