I have a Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera with 7.2 megapixels. I use a Lexar (1GB and 2 GB) Memory Stick PRO Duo memory card. I recently spent a lot of time in France and when I went to dump my pictures off on to my computer it said it did not recognize the file type. When I look at the pictures directly from my memory card they just show the Photo Impression icon and if I click on them they say something is wrong with the file. I can see the pictures on my camera. I DON'T KNOW WHAT WRONG!!! Is there a way to get these pictures??? Or maybe a place that could do it for me??? I normally get my pictures dumped off on cds at Walgreens and I took this memory card in, along with a few others and they only dumped off some of them. Two full memory cards (one 1GB and one 2GB) would not work! PLEASE HELP!!! I'm DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANY advice would be AMAZING! I'm SOOOO stressed out...

sorry to hear that....sounds like a nightmare come true...just a thought, has the camera or mem card come into contact with any magnetic items.....that may have corrupted the card/s - I have NEVER heard of a memory card with problems like this....maybe try it on a friends pc. If the card /s have been corrupted then I would say you have lost the photos for good. hope this helps?? Good Luck
