The male is usually smaller and brighter in color than the female. Just remember that Guppies are sexually mature at 2 months old . They give birth to live young. Parents may chase young immediately after spawning so make sure you have plants where the babies can hide.

Livebearing fish (Guppies, Mollies, Platies, and so on.) breed internally, so the babies advance interior the secure practices of the female, for this reason why they are fairly elementary to reproduce. To acheive inner fertilization, the anal fin of the male has stepped forward between the fin rays right into a gonopoduim, that's particularly a penis, during which sperm flows into the female. In babies this turns into seen at approximately 3 weeks of age, and then they might desire to be separated, so as that they don't breed themselves. wish this replaced into effectual.

You are right that they lack the organs to tell them apart yet. You'll basically have to wait until they get a bit older and then you can sex them just like adults.
