Where can I buy legal mp3 cd music compilations?

Question

My car has a mp3 CD player that'll play data CDs with mp3 files. I'd like to buy a CD filled with like 400 songs. Something like all the hits from the year 2005 or something like that. Is there any legal way to buy a CD like this? I could goto iTunes and make the CD myself but that's a lot of work. I just wanna buy the CD already made.

look on itunes - they have compliations called essentials from different eras that are pretty good.
