I live in the usa, and was wandering , what's a good price to sell guppies at to a pet store?
I've haerd many ranges, but what's the best average. I have so many- and they wont stop breeding, so I was planning to sell some babies for profits. Then, the profits will go to my aquariam.

Thanks.

Unless you havea really special strain of guppies I wouldn't expect to get more than 25 cents for them and only that if they are fully grown. Basically be ready to take anything you can get, but store will give you much more in store credit than in cash for them.

I give mine away...

The pet stores will sell them for little of nothing anyway coming from off the street.

I was recently told at one pet store that I've been giving my guppies to that if they don't sell they use them for "feeder fish" ... So needless to say, I don't give or sell my guppies to any pet store anymore...

So my final answer? Just don't.

About 10-15¢ per fish for store credit. There is no profit in guppies, unless they are show quality.
You do know what will happen to them? Oscar feed.

Anywhere from 1.00 to 2.00 per dozen. But put em in the paper. Pet stores want to buy from .01 and up to .04 here.

Guppies are good for an aquarium.

I would sell them for a certain amount if they were feeder guppies your problay gonna have a hard time getting money off them so I would go for like 10cents and fancy guppies for like $1.00.

most of them end up as food for other fish, and they buy them off u for less then pocket change, i keep all my gupies, and give them toi family and friends were they can grow them as well, or at least try.
