If you have seen the red sea aquarium, can you tell me what you think of it? If you have one can you also tell me what you like about it? Do you think it is cruel to keep marine fish in such a small aquarium?

They look nice, as do biocubes, and other aquaria of this type - and they contain all the equipment associated with a saltwater tank - these are their biggest "selling points" to the aesthetically inclined and newcomers to marine tank keeping.

Honestly, I wouldn't get one. Not because of the size alone (34 gallons if other readers don't know) - I keep a 29 gallon reef now and have a 10 gallon invertebrate tank, so I don't consider the size an issue if you properly plan the fish/inverts to go into a tank that size. I like to custom-build what I have - protein skimmers, lighting, filtration, powerheads, etc. based on the needs of the animals that I put in and what I consider to be the most "efficient" equipment. With these units, you get what the company sell you - you have no say in the "accessories". For the price (around $595), I can put together a same size to slightly bigger tank and get what equipment I want.

And you are correct, their dimensions aren't appropriate for all aquatic life (fish or otherwise).

Yes. You shouldn't keep any fish in a small aquarium. Tropical, salt-water fish require a much bigger aquarium.

i have had a 6 gallon nano cube and now have a 12 gal nano cube. the red sea beat the jbj nano cube hands down but cost much much more. i dont think it is cruel. clown fish breeders do their breeding in tanks that are much smaller than that. you should get a nano tank they are great

Only if you could afford to buy a bigger aquarium.
