Myspace is not bad, way to keep in touch with friends, family and classmates, instead meeting new people. You only add your friends and your favorite band also too many fake celebrities an artists, if is fake, so don't accept or add them an you alway deny them, some all fake celebrities still won't remove them. Remember, never give out personal informations to any strangers as address, phone number etc... You can set a private, no one view your profile. If you want to protect your images, then go to www.freecodesource.com or www.pimpmaspace.com, keeping from stealing your picture off myspace page.

Depends on what you mean by "bad" - if you have a publicly-viewable profile you can occasionally get "friend requests" from "fake" people whose profiles contain links to pay websites. I find that I don't get an overly large number of these, and usually you can tell if someone is an actual person just by looking at their profile. As an example, I'm a 39-year-old guy, so I don't usually grant "friend requests" from people who list themselves as a 22-year-old girl from California.

MySpace is very good for keeping in touch with friends, looking up old classmates, and finding events in a specific area. Because of the "pics" and "videos" sections available, it's a great way to share photos and videos with friends and family. MySpace also features built-in blogging for you blog aficionados out there.

I have not as of yet had anyone (successfully) send me a virus in e-mail or MySpace IM - but that's because I use good anti-virus and anti-spyware programs - I highly recommend AVG Free from Grisoft - available at http://free.grisoft.com

On the down side, I occasionally find some of the customized profile backgrounds people use to be visually a bit annoying, and I'm not overly fond of embedded music in profiles either.

Overall I consider MySpace to be "good" so far.

I guess myspace is only bad if you have a public account. However, it's very easy to hack onto someone's account and pics aren't exactly the safest thing. Some people can send you a virus through email or myspace chat or something like that to hack into your computer.

MySpace really isn't bad, but you need to be cautious while on MySpace. Many people have been raped and killed for going on MySpace and meeting strangers. You should probably only speak to people you know, just to be safe.

Evil is bad. Myspace is addictive. Some evil can be found on myspace, but those who are wise have few problems.

it all depends on how you use it. people talk about myspace like it is a bad site. but if you only talk to the people you know its about as unsafe as an email. its fine like any other website like xanga and you can meet many new people. just be careful of who you meet. also cops use myspace to track local criminals who are dumb enough to vandalize and take pictures.. its an overall good place if your not looking for trouble
