I want to go to Maryland the 1st week of April and am wondering what is there to do this time of year?

I'd say if your in Maryland you might as well just pop into DC, especially if your around the Baltimore area (its not far) The cherry blossoms are supposed to be in full bloom the first week of April and its gorgeous to see. Be warned though if you're there on a weekend its very crowded. Sorry if you don't like them sweetie but tens of thousands do come to see it ;-)

Baltimore has the Inner Harbor with several historical and modern attractions. Annapolis is home to the State Capitol and the U.S. Naval Academy. Nearby Washington, D.C., in addition to everything else it has, has its cherry blossoms in full bloom right around that time every year. If you're a Civil War buff, the Antietam Battlefield is at Sharpsburg. And the mountains in the western part of the State are very nice to look at. You might even be able to get into Camden Yards for an Orioles game, because the way they've played the last few years, they haven't drawn well, except when the Yankees and Red Sox bring their fans down.

Go to the inner harbor. I would say ocean city but it is too cool out for that yet. But the inner harbor is a great place to visit. there is a lot to see and do there. shopping, history,eating, acivities,aquarium and much more.you wont be dissapointed.
