We all know about the dolphins inconsistency over the years and its all been contributed to the lack of a Overall good QB position...But lets say they aquire Green from Kc or Carr from Texas...how do you think they would do this season?

Not to mention they acquired Joey porter and will have a dominant defense this year

I am a bills fan so my team needs a lot of help to hahaha, but I think the dolphins need more than just a QB. They had Culpepper who was a factor (somewhat) in Minn. However, the dolphins keep basically picking up everybodys scrap qb's and they need to do what the Bills are doing, go through a few seasons of terrible performance, but mold a rookie QB and get them that way, not trade for a QB you're going to keep for a year. In my opinion Green would also not be a good fit with you guys, he had the best blocking line in front of him and he was solid, he is going to be hurt (mark my words) if he goes to you guys, he will not survive the whole season injury free.

Miami D has been good for several years but I don't think the addition of Porter makes it a dominate one. The Dolphins biggest problems have been, and will continue to be, a very inconsistant offense. A QB is only part of that. They still need an effective running game and quality WRs which they lack on both cases. If they do sign Green or Carr expect to see them say bye bye to Culpepper. Either of those two will be a big improvement over Dante.

Well looking at the division, The patriots should be able to win the AFC east once again. Which means the dolphins will be competing for a wildcard spot. They should be way better than the bills who have done nothing but lose good players from a team that was not very good last year. The Jets seem to just be holding steady mainly so the phins should be competing for with the jets for 2nd place in the division and possible wildcard spot. But Green nor Carr is the answer at QB, Although I think Green would give the phins a better shot at getting the phins back into the playoffs.

when the dolphins got culpepper people like you had the same reaction. But then something came up and they sucked. They are starting all over again with coaching and have a piss poor offense which includes no tight end and an extremely overrated running back. i dont think that david carr is any better then joey harrington, and trent green is old. so no, even if they are going to be some peopels sleeper pick, a decent season isnt what you can expect.

I don't think Trent Green or David Carr is the answer for the dolphins every year the dolphins bring in a new quarterback they need to just keep the same one in for at least two seasons so they can build team chemistry....i think this season they will have the defense to support a poor offense so wasting money on Trent green or Carr when you still have culpepper is a bad move but who knows that's why they play the game

If the Fish are smart, theyll RUN after David Carr. That guy got a bad rap because of his crappy offensive line.
They already balked on Trent Green, saying the demand of money is "too high", but David Carr could be the next franchise player for them.
Culpepper was a bust, and Joey Harrington is gone. They even missed out on signing a vet, like Jeff Garcia, for a year for time to rebuild.
They have to strike while the iron is hot. Their defense is good, but Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor are showing the very very early stages of getting old. NOW is the time to get someone like David Carr.

Uh, there are absolutely no quarterbacks available for hire that would even come close to helping a very needy Miami, although the draft is about a month away, so look for this team to either look hard at moving up the board, or hoping Brady Quinn falls into their hands. There maybe a good sleeper pick in the horizon.

John Beck must be their beginning QB by using fact he's have been given what it takes to be a frontrunner different than the OL. If the Dolphins build a sturdy OL in front of Beck then I wouldnt be ask your self whether he places up some sturdy numbers. ignore approximately Matt Ryan... they must draft Chris long

joey porter is not the same joey porter from before. he is obviously on the decline. but he is still good. the dolphins have to get another target besides chambers. he is their only threat. they have no TE after losing mcmichael.
