We don't have slavery in the American job market. We do business with countries that have near slavery in factories that supply goods most of which go to stores like Walmart.

Well, slavery does exist in the U.S. But I don't think this is what you are talking about. There are groups that are being found out all the time. Alot of it is coming from Mexico, Eastern Asia and from Soviet Union mafia. People are going to think this sounds nuts, but there have been alot of busts in the Southern California area and Florida of people holding other people, mostly women, against their will and forcing them to work as sex slaves, in sweat shops or in other areas that can be well hidden from public view. If we stop the influx of illegal immigration, this can also be stopped. The first thing, however, is that we cannot have what Bush wants for our economy, and that is the guest worker program. It won't stem the tide of illegal immigration or human smuggling or trafficing. So,honestly I'm not sure how it is going to be abolished, other than more police force being appropriated to curb that. Which also means more funding for our justice system. Which would be welcome, in my point of view.

.....
and how exactly do you define slavery?
do you abolish it with 16 dollars an hour, unlimited lunch breaks and eight months paid vacation?
Obviously I am being sarcastic, but I have been in the job market for 15 years and I was never a slave.
so please explain.
