I believe in religion in general and my own religion. I think religion is important in motivating and instilling morals in people, which is one thing all religions have in common. Religion often makes people feel like they're a part of something and that they're not alone. of course, a lot of things have been done in the name of religion, but it wasn't started by the religions themselves, but moreso by fanatics and fundamentalists. European Christians with the Crusades, and the few (because its not a majority of terrorists in the Muslim faith) Islamic fundamentalists like Hussein.

I am a Christian, but I say, "To each his own." There are some Christian beliefs that I don't agree with, like gay people being the devil or the ban on contraceptives, but Christianity is what best fits me as a person. God is God. You can take him/her or leave him/her, but some people are much better with him/her than without.

Yes to an extent George Carlin said once" Religion is in the heart and GOD is in the bushes" In other words you don't need a building to believe in a higher power.

I believe there is a higher power, but not in any religion in particular. But science shows more, religion just says:
God put those fossils in the floor
Men have been around for longer than women =s

You don't BELIEVE in the religion itself you believe in God, and yes I do. If you are believing in just "religion" than something's wrong with the picture.

No, I do not believe in religion. It is very sad to think that religion supports the intellect of those who wish to control our thoughts and actions.

I believe in God.

But....I personally do not believe in organized religion. I think that crap is for the birds!

Even though I was brought up to be Lutheran, I will go and pray where ever I choose, when ever I choose. I don't agree with people telling you to belong to a specific church, etc.....

Everyone has to believe in religion, as seven tenths of the world have it. You don't actually have to believe in THEIR religion, though, of course.
Kinda like asking if you belive in Area 51. It's a mistranslated question.
