Recently there has been a wild chicken in my backyard and it has killed my dog and my cat. Please help me tell me how to kill it without getting injured.

I hope it was a chihuahua and not a pitbull or something; I have a hard time believing a chicken could even kill a cat. But if this is the case, and it was a pitbull, etc. I would recommend a 30-06 rifle with loooong distance scope. That's a hell of a bird. Please don't shoot big bird by mistake-- that would really upset the kids...

ROTFLOL!!!!!!! Chicken of a chicken?! What kind of dog did it kill? Or cat? Dogs and cats are good chicken killers. Never heard of it the other way around. But call your local animal control.

LOL are you sure it is a chicken? You kill a chicken by grabbing it put a pillow case over its head grab it by the neck and swing it around a couple of times......put it down it will run around and fall over dead. If your gonna eat it have some boiling water ready dip it in pull it back out quickly run your hand down it and the feathers will come off, cut off the head and gut it. again ARE YOU SURE IT IS A CHICKEN?

The usual way to kill a chicken is to wring it's neck. If you have a "wild" chicken, then go to a twelve gauge shotgun.

if it really did kill MY pets, i would have killed that chicken along time ago, and i wuldnt care if i got injured. but thats just me:)
try sling shot with a lot of big rocks.. my cousin hurt a pigeon doing that.

Call Animal Control in your area. They deal with strays. Do not kill it.

grab it by the neck, and use an axe to cut off the head. it will run around without its head. then when it lays down, grab it by the feet, and allow the blood to run out for a few. then put it in boiling water to get the feathers off it. cut it up, and good eating!
