I think some of you forget that we made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs 2 years ago with Kyle Orton.. and the superbowl last year with Rex. What changed besides our young defense getting more experience??

We locked up all 8 coaches (except Rivera) to new deals, added depth at DL and DB.. we will draft another LB just like we did with Briggs, Urlacher, Holdman, and Colvin........ and be just fine.

Who in the NFC is going to beat us?

David Carr... are you serious??? He got ran out of Houston for Christ's sake. Grossman had double his TD passes and almost a thousand more passing yards than Carr did last season. What a good option.

Chicago will crumble like an oatmeal cookie. Cedric Benson won't be very productive in a one back system. That means a lot more pressure will fall on Grossman to win games, and I don't think he will be the type of qurterback that can carry a team. Then you have Lance Briggs who won't even be playing for them and you're one devestating defensive injury away from mediocrity.

Hey I'm still thinking we're gonna get lucky this draft like we did with Hester and Manning. If we do that's 2 great drafts in a row so that will be AWSOME. Benson is gonna have to pull a rabbit outta the hat though, and Grossman will fumble the snap on the kneeldown to give them the game winning field goal in the superbowl, he's already proven he has that much dedication to losing.

They will crumble. It all started in the offseason. Lubby Smith having contract troubles. Tank Johnson going to jail. Lance Briggs getting really pissed. New Orleans has a better chance of getting to the Super Bowl next year. The NFC is pretty weak, but I still dont think they can return.

I don't think Chicago can make it with the QB they have.
They should try to get David Carr and use Grossman for backup.
They've lost a few players in the offseason but I think they can habdle that through free agency and draft. QB is their most urgent problem, and draft ain't gonna improve them in that position for a couple years.

If they trade Briggs like they are talking about, they can be serious contenders. They will have the #6 pick from the Redskins, their own 1st round pick, and the two early 2nd round picks from the Redskins and the Jets to fill in all the gaps from this past year. Trade Briggs, sign Arrington off free agents, draft QB, DT, WR, and OL with those 4 top picks and bring home the trophy!

And oh yeah, his name is Lovie!

They have a good coach in Lovie Smith...I think they should give Grossman one year to prove doubters wrong...They went to the Super Bowl with him...30 other teams can't say that...
