If the blanket is not waterproof take it off, otherwise leave it on and leave her in the pasture. She will live just fine and its not supposed to rain very long.

Horses do very well without shelter even in rain. They just turn there butts into the wind. She will do fine.I have a 23 yr.old horse and we live in the south where winter is mild. We have an over hang and that's it. It doesn't seem to bother her.I feel guilty because I think everything should live in comfortable houses with feather beds but people really do an injustice to horses by stalling them too much.

Take Poles Form a Square and then Cover That With Tarps And Strap Tarps Put Horse Under The Tarp

Otherwise As Long as its not Freesing (wich i doupt in So-Cal) and if its not muddy cause if it is muddy you could get the horse stuck thrust me

Oh Yeah And For That Tent Thing I Suggested I Suggest making it close to structure such as house or shed. so you could tie the horse properly to something heavy and strong

The horse will be fine. It can't be cold down there and horses don't melt when they get wet. Countless horses up here will go all winter without a blanket.

Horses can "weather" a lot..but get her a shelter asap..even a 3 sided one is better than none, so she can get in out of wind/rain etc. when she wants.

Poor horse. As long as its not freezing cold, windy or really muddy then she will probably do fine. Just make sure she has plenty of fresh hay.
