my school is trying to find a good musical to perform. We thought about bye bye birdie but we dont have enough guys. we have 5 guys i think. so any suggestions?

Grease and Man of La Mancha don't have huge numbers of male roles. Another one I'd suggest is a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. There's not a ton of male parts and since it's a comedy you can "tweak" the genders of a few of the characters easily, like in one production of it I was in we made the character of Erronius into "Erronia" and threw in females as soldiers and it worked out fine

yeah, we did bye bye birdie and it requires a strong cast of guys. my favorite musical is guys and dolls, but you might not have enough guys for that either

Chicago is a great one if you have a limited number of guys.
Also, Phantom of the Opera is amazing, or Grease.
You could do Annie with a limited male cast...

"She Loves Me" has 3 male roles, I believe.
"Company" has 3.
"Man of La Mancha" can be done with 5 males or fewer.
"Cabaret"
"Hair"
"Annie"
