Anaheim has 2 of the best 5 defensemen in the league, a Goalie who has already experienced playoff pressure, and balanced scoring. These are things that win it for you.
Give Pittsburgh 2 or 3 years yet.

I believe the San Jose Sharks have what it takes to go all the way and win the Stanley Cup this year. They have a solid team with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players in Marleau and Thornton. Cheech has finally regained his scoring touch and Michalek has been one of the better players in the league this past month. They have 2 starting goaltenders in Nabby and Vesa. They have depth, youth and size. They upgraded their defense by adding experience and leadership with Craig Rivet. They also added another awesome winger in Bill Guerin to add to their arsenal of attacks! They are on a strong winning streak right now with Nabokov just scorching hot, and they will put it all together to try and win the Stanley Cup.

Umm, yeah...I don't even think the Leafs are gonna see the playoffs this time around. As for who will win the S------ C--, well, I'm a Sabres fan, so you know what I'm hoping for, but anything can happen in the post-season.

excuse me but did anyone see anyone named Domnick Hasek play recently? That guys in his 40's and he's still got it! After the humiliation of last year the wings are gonna come in with some fire this year I'm feelin it. With Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Chelios, Hasek (and Osgood when he plays hasn't been to bad either) don't count the Wings out

Until recently, I woulda said Devils, but they've gone colder than the ice they play on. The Rangers on the other hand are way hotter than they should be, because of Lundquist. There's no way he can stay so hot through the playoffs, is there? That would be awesome. :)
It's going to be Pens or Sabres.

Pittsburgh has it. They have arguably the best player in league (Crosby) one of the best goal scoring rookies in league (Malkin) and the best shorthanded goal artist (Staal). Their powerplay is deadly which is quarterbacked by Gonchar. The only question mark is their goaltending. They have beaten some of the best teams in the east recently. My darkhorse would be Detroit's experience and will after last year's collapse.
