My boyfriend is 26 and we were talking about the amount of ppl each other have slept with, 9, do you think thats normal for someone his age. Or more, or even less? I dont have much experience on this subject.

Unfortunately, for a man any number is fine. A woman this day and age will be looked at as a whore if she said 9. It sucks but that is the society we live in now.

My guess is that your boyfriend injected this into the conversation for a simple reason. He wanted to know the amount of men you have slept with.
This is a good thing and a bad thing. Well if he injected this into your conversation he is tying to find out if your one of the girls men make jokes about or a loyal women who he can take home to mom. The fact that he might be trying to find out says that he is interested in you, but if your answer was not what he would consider lady like your doomed. Did you sleep with him in less then a week, if so he would consider any other man to have the same oppertunity. If you held out for a long time you might have found yourself a great man that will love and respect you.
As for nine women being high or low. I personally would say for the average respectable guy its high for his age. But if he was the player type its probally very low. And dont forget most men for some strange reason, pride perhaps would lie about this number.
He might have only selpt with 2 women or even only 1. And has given you a high number because often women like a man that gets around for some reason and it is seen as acceptable. But i can assure you no man wants to be with a women with a high score card for any longer than the duty takes. So its possible his high number of nine is just to flush out the truth from you.

I would think that 9 is not very many partners for a guy. But that is probably just a stereotype. and one more thing...why would you and ur boy talk about that stuff with eachother? I would never talk about my past sex life with my boyfriend because it is disrespectful...but just my opinion

It's no small amount, but it's not disturbingly large either. If he started around age 17, that would mean about one different partner per year.
I wouldn't be worried about it, as long as he's responsible in his habits.

I mean it's kind of a lot but for a young guy that's nothing. I know guys that sleep with way more. Just make sure he always used and continue to use protection.
