My band and l are trying to brainstorm a brilliant name, the guitarist of the band, Sean, considered 'BackFired' does anyone else like it? I do...Tell what you think.
We are a pop/rock band. Kinda like All American Rejects, McFLY, Greenday...does it match up with the genre of music?

Sounds good, tho I'd prefer it in 2 words instead of one

I always thought a good band name would be "Sorry Vietnam"

which you can use if you want.

But yes Back Fired or BackFired would be good.

I think backfired sounds more of a rock group. A little more hardcore than what ur going for i think.

I don't like it...it doesn't have that roll of the tounge, cool sounding name. How about Dances With Guns, Black Wave, Revolting, Voltage..you know something that jumps out at the customers and makes them wannt buy your cd.

any way you do have some pretty awesome band names in previous answers too so you'll do fine.

It doesn't catch you in my opinion, BackFired reminds me of lighting a fart with a match. How about "Atomic Line Filter" lololol!!!!!

"Backfired" sets you up for an unintended joke. When something backfires it goes bad for the people who started it.

Maybe something like "Baskin Rubbers" would be good.

it sounds like a rock band but it's original-I think it's cool especially as just the one word :)

Backfire (without the 'd') would also be pretty good.

But it is a good name.
