Since everyone from Michigan seems to go to Florida for spring break -- why not go to Michigan? You can go to Detroit and take in the Motown Museum -- go to Battle Creek the breakfast cereal capital of the world -- go to Kalamazoo just to say to Kalamazoo -- or there is the Mackinac Bridge in the upper penninsula -- and top it off by visiting Hell Michigan and tell all your friends you have been to hell and back!

I do live in Florida, have my entire life, and have spent many spring vacations here. For college age- a fun area-good combo of beach & proximity to night life is Cocoa Beach. For older adults with kids, Saint Augustine Beach.
