This one really makes me smile...
My grandparents treated my sister and I to a road trip to Galvaston Island. When we got there, My sister and I wanted to go to the beach. So, the next morning we got up and while we were getting ready my Grandmother was putting sunblock on us and took one look at my grandfather white legs (when I mean white, I mean almost see through!!!) and told him to put some on. He said that he will and we went out the door. We spent the WHOLE day at the beach. I eventually found out that my dear grandfather forgot to put on the sunblock on his legs and had a severe sunburn on his calves. My grandmother teased him about it for days.....

My favorite memory of my grandparents(great grand parents) is Flea marketing with them at alder days. Alder Days is a week long festival in Alder, Montana. We would go there every year, just my grandparents and me. One year I found a hundred dollar bill on the ground, Boy what a weekend. Thaey are both deceased now but will always live on in my heart.

Mammaw's delicious FOOD !!! Sitting on Pappaw's lap, checking out his Navy tattoo, and being given a quarter.

On the maternal side, Grandpa always wanting to play us some new record he had bought. No much memory of Granny. I'm sure she was a nice lady, but I don't recall her doing much :)

Dancing around the pool table to "Raindrops Are Falling On My Head" when I was 4 years old. We danced for 2 hours-- they could hardly walk the next day! :)

So much fun!

I have so many to chose from...but I have to say when my grandmother taught me how to do the "twist". I was only 10 years old and didn't know she could dance like that.

I also loved riding in my grandpa's old beat up GM truck to pick up Chinese take-out.
