They do get off very lightly in today's society, leaving a trail of broken hearts and dreams, but I hardly think stoning the jokers is the answers. I wish divorce settlements could be harsher on adulterers, and I wish there was more support and counseling available to spouses who have been betrayed. No easy answer for a problem as old as time itself.

No, I'm afraid stoning, the stocks, tarring & feathering, the pillory, and the firing squad are all outmoded forms of punishment.
Alternative suggestion: put them on milk cartons and pizza boxes.

it's better for you if you just forgive. I'm not saying that it's easy, and I'm not saying that you have to be friends or anything of the sort. but hate will eat you up inside, and when you're hating and thinking of mean things to do to the person who hurt you, you're giving that person power over you. you don't have to like them, and you don't have to associate with them. but forgive them in your heart, and you will be free to move on with your life and find true happiness.
