Ok, I've been told by a friend that this is a must see show. I just don't get it. Is it something that you have to be British to understand. Are we Americans just not going to get it, even if we are solid BritCom fans? I just don't find it funny.

I find it quite demeaning coming from the one person who figures that if I can't get this program my taste runs to what was it 1 1/2 men and American Idol, both being shows that I would never dream of watching. Please don't put me down because my taste in humor doesn't coinside exactly with yours. I was trying to get a take on this show as I didn't understand it and wanted to try. I usually watch Britcoms, but more like Red Dwarf, Lexx, As Time Goes By, and think that they are funny. I do not watch much of American TV.

And I found Shaun of the dead to be a total waste of time and money.

It is a class series, you have to appreciate the subtlety, the absolute negativity of Dylan Moran and the eternal optimism of Bill Baily

That show is fvcking brilliant. You should go back to 1 and a Half Men or American Idol and leave the good shows to people with half a brain.

It's got Dylan Moran in it (Shaun of the Dead), so it's got to be awesome. I've heard it's sort of like Spaced. I haven't see it yet, but I intend to.
