I look every time... the toilet is never safe with a three year old around...

I always look no matter where I am at. If it's in a public place then of course because someone could have splashed on it and I need to go elsewhere or wipe it off and put one of those paper thingys down...at home I look still...mostly out of habit but just to be sure nothing is on there.

Most definitely! The toilet must be clean and DRY before I plop down!!!
I make a priority of checking out the toilet paper availability before I do anything else, as that is the MOST important thing to a woman - especially in a public restroom!!!

I look then sit and i also make sure the seat is down so i dont fall in!!

I look, to make sure I have a blank slate to inspect what comes afterward for blood (special case...)

I usually look in it to make sure it's been flushed so as to avoid unwanted backsplash in heavy stool situations.
