The first thing to check is whether or not the compressor is engaging. It sounds as though it is not if the car is only blowing hot air. I don't know if you have a separate belt on that car as I don't know if it is a 4cyl or 6cyl, but if there is a separate belt, check that first.

if the belt is in place and the light on the switch is green then the probability is that there is no refrigerant in the system. there is a low pressure switch that will prohibit the compressor from engaging when the system is low or out of refrigerant because the oil that lubricates the compressor is carried in the refrigerant charge.

My guess is that if you look through the front grille/air intakes on the front of the car you're going to find that a rock or some other debris has damaged the condensor. The condensor is the heat exchanger that is in front of the radiator. Damage to the condensor is usually the reason that air conditioning systems lose the refrigerant because the road debris that gets thrown up at it cause the pipes to rupture. Its the same type of damage that causes windshields to break from stones that get thrown up from the road.

My advise is to inspect the condenser for damage and go from there. if it is damaged, then you'll need to replace the condenser as it is not repairable. Figure about $450 to do that. If the condenser is not damaged, have the system performance tested to determine the level of refrigerant and the operating pressures. The performance test will isolate the cause of the problem if it is other than a condenser. You'll need to have a qualified shop do that as refrigerant must be recovered and recycled.

hope that helps

alright its odd that on an 02 its already messing up especially on a honda, there could be a few things wrong ill list in order of severity,
worst cast you need a new blower motor,
or your fuse to the a/c might be blown,
and the radiator fan thats called a clutch fan,
that should have anything to do with the coldness of the air,
if its blowing hot you need to recharge the system with refrigerant, you can get that at autozone, walmart, any auto parts store and if you look on the silver looking thing with a nozzle that looks like the end of a tire valve on it thats where you plug it up to...hope this info helps, good look, and stay coool
