All the guys in a couple of my classes are really vulgar. I know that teenage boys will be like that - but it's to the extreme. Everyday they shout perverted things across the room and some of the teachers just sit back and do nothing. We've actually had 1 teacher join in on the conversation they were having. I've talked to my parents about it and they don't want me to, but I might switch anyway. They don't think it's a big deal but they don't realize I have to sit through an x-rated day because they're not experiencing it. Should I switch? There's a way I can do that and still get the credits I need, even though it's so late in the year.

Certainly, if you can do it without compromising your academic status. Even if you have to mess things up for yourself, you should stand up for yourself.

I would talk to your dean or guideance counselor. That shouldn't be allowed in class, and I'm sure that it isn't. If you just switch out of the class, think of all the other people that wil have to sit through that. Make sure you tell an authoratative figure and put a stop to the problem once and for all.

If you are uncomfortable and there is a comparable class to change to...I'd say do it. School can be hard enough to have to deal with that kind of thing. Your education is important and going to battle with them or a teacher who doesn't "see" it will only cause you more grief.

Well if it's like that in one class chances are that it'll be the same in another.
