Yes, beetles have wings. Almost all of them fly as well. The wings are located on the back of the insect under the protective forewings called elytra.

Back when I lived in East Texas we had little brown beetles....they definitley had wings and could fly....and they alwasy stuck to the screen door. They were brown.. We called then "June Bugs" because they first started coming out in June.

The hard shell that cover the thorax and abdomen also covers the wings. When they go to fly they lift up the hard shell and flutter there wings.

They have two pairs.
The front pair are the hard cases (the red with spots on a ladybird for example), the back set are folded underneath.

yes they do. they have those hard shells on their back right? its under there. they lift it up occasionally and when a predator comes.
