More specificly remember the "6 inch" hold where you lay on your back and hold your feet in the air for as long as possible? well i do this but moving my legs up and down. Could this have been the root of my new knee pain or should i look somewhere else?

I doubt this would cause your knee pain. Might you have twisted it or turned it when exercising? It might also be that you have overworked it. Give it some rest, apply a cold pack and take some anti-inflammatories like Alieve or Advil. If it doesn't start feeling better in a few days, go see your doctor. Most knee injuries are caused by twisting and or some arthritis.

you could have hurt your knee,s this way. go see your doctor for a check up and don,t exercise again till you know you are fit or you may cause yourself more injury.
