For example the insect's wing has been magnified, how do i calculate that value?

I assume you are looking at a picture of the wing? If so, you can use the equation Image size = Actual size x magnification. So, you measure the size of the wing in the picture, divide by the actual size of the wing, and your answer is the magnification.
