Whenever I try to listen to music on line like Yahoo music or internet radio stations and watch tv episodes online the music or video stops and starts buffering, then, it will play for a few seconds, then, start buffering again.

How can I stop this from happening? It's very frustrating.

I have a brand new HP computer with MS Vista Ultimate. I also have a DSL connection.

When I purchased the computer a month ago I had no problems. This only started to happen after I upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Vista Ultimate.

With more complete information any additional suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to buy a faster internet package from your service provider. Also, you may need to upgrade your computer depending on it's hardware. Lack of RAM will cause slow buffering. Or, you may be running to many programs which slows down your computer. This will cause skipping and slow buffering in online music and videos. Also, if you are downloading anything while trying to watch/listen to online media, they will cause massive slow downs in buffering and playback.
