The New North Carolina Drivers Licenses Has a New Trackable Chip!

It was a sad day for me today as I called the local DMV. My cousin showed me her Renewed drivers licenses yesterday, and to my surprise there on the back was a new type of hologram. However as I came to find out today thru DMV sources it's not just a hologram it infact is a new trackable chip. They said infact it was a new homeland security project for this state. The officer also said that the cards which are trackable is just the first step in the new project, she also stated that other states had their own projects but that eventually all states would infactbe merged into the same system. This news shocked me to say the least but she also added that they were infact doing facial recignitions as well to go into the database. However before answering my questions she had a couple of her own such as, why do you want to know? Have you been involved with fake ID's ect. ect. I laughted and assured her that infact I was just a concerned citizen, and that I found it irronic how we are not the terrorists but that we have to submit to being treated as such. She however didn't seem amused. What as a nation have we allowed? Well as for me my drivers licenses don't expire until 2010, and until I move to a state that doesn't have such a policy or the policy itself is recended I'll stick with the ones I have!

Please do not accept this infringment on your constitutional rights! Fight back against tyranny!

Homeland security is the guise.. next they'll be putting them under our skin.. do all the non-bible believers see a correlation here? The government does whatever they want.. and the masses believe whatever they say.

Typical Liberal you have no idea about the changes being made on the drivers licenses but you immediately scream that it's a conspiracy...

New technology is only a threat to people that choose to break the law. Only thing is while you break the law, law abiding people like me are being killed. Bottom line is if improved licensees prevent forgery and prevent terrorist from conducting another 9-11, too bad for the liberal cry babies...

Is there a way to deactivate the chip? Is that legal if you do? These are questions you want to ask. I mean is it fair that the State can track your movements by tracking your driver license? I think that begets interesting privacy issues don't you.

Geez I hate "big brother" stuff like this. It won't aid in tracking down terrorists. That's the problem. A terrorist isn't going to care.

Well, I think it's a good thing to keep people from using fake ID's. Especially illegal immigrants and fugitives. Also, if my 16 year old daughter comes up missing. There would be a better chance that she would be found alive. Besides, if you have nothing to hide, this should not bother you one bit. How is it interfering with your right to privacy? If you ask me, it sounds like it gives more rights to the people who are following the rules and less to the people who don't follow the rules.

Just think, no more lost drivers license. No more I.D. theft using the drivers license. Tyranny under a police state is the price we pay for the freedoms we enjoy. And this is only the beginning. I can hardly wait to see what they do with our SSN's.

Damn I hope that does not spread to the other states. It's not right, it's a free country. We shouldn't be tracked. Maybe it is an option that allows you to purchase a tracking thing for your children and it is optional, but still they could track you anytime. I don't like the sound of that one bit.

That sounds horrifying next we will have chips implanted at birth sort of like we keep track of our pets, only it will be big brother tracking us.What they need to do is place these chips in every VISA given out to keep track of where these people are.

All the BS Bush feeds us is making the weak scared and this is their way of dealing w/ it. "War on Terror" ridiculous. What if I said lets have a war on racism. You would say I'm a nut. You would say that there have always been racists and always will be racists. It's the same thing w/ terrorists.
