Need help finding a low maintenance fee direct deposit bank for S.S. with bad or no credit.?

I need help locating an institution of some financial sort to have Direct Deposit for a Social Security Payment. I have searched long and hard. I've exhausted my self and only have this queston as my last allternative. Does any one have any sugestons ?

What has good or bad credit got to do with it.?
Just get a bank account and then arrange with SS to put the money there.
