The main way to get recognized in the deviantART community is to get involved. Make it a point every day to comment on five random people's artworks (not necessarily Today's Popular, since they will already have a bajillion comments). Browse recently submitted art in the same (or similar) medium and/or style as your own and say something about their piece - things you really like about it, things that they could improve upon, how it makes you feel. Comments like that are ones that are usually replied to, even if they do not know you.

Also, you can go onto the deviantART forums; if you speak up there, people will be more likely to want to see what you have to offer.

Good luck!

There is a lot of stuff there. I just checked it out. Some of it looks really good. Some of it is way out there somewhere.

To sell something, even interest in your work you need two things. They are mutually inclusive so they could be in either order. You need a product that someone wants. Second you need a customer who wants your product. It looks like deviantart.com is available to everyone so you have every emaginable type of art on it. It didn't seem as though you could search for a particular item. I didn't find any directions for the site. If I can't easily find what I am look for I am going to look somewhere else.

Another thing. I have never heard of this site. What is the owner doing to promote the site to people who might be interested?

You have to join user groups on the site and put your stuff in them.

You might try to load more peices of work too, but don't load them all at once; you will get more browsers if you space it out.

You could go to the Deviation ThumbShare forum and post thumbnails of your work, people go there to look for art to comment

I hope this helps!
