I had my last period on Feb the 18th. My cycle lasts about 30 days but this one is THE longest! I had an intercourse around March the 10th (using condom) so that could and another one on the 32nd day of m cycle (nothing was used since I missed my period already). I did the pregnancy tests but came up as negative. My breasts kinda hurt and they got slightly bigger, I've been getting some cramps but they dont last long and are very mild. Also I had something of very short kidney pain (which i believe might be a possible bladder infection or pregnancy. ive experienced that when i was pregnant before due to expanding uterus). I made an appointment with my obgyn tomorrow but i would feel better if somebody could maybe share the knowledge or experience with me now. would could this possibly be? thanks for all the posts.

A couple of reasons for a late period could be that you may have a kidney infection, or a UTI, neither of which are comfortable conditions to find yourself in. Your OB may not be able to tell you much unless you take a blood test. While it is very possible to get pregnant using condoms (I'm a perfect, 5 months pregnant, example of this) but the OTC pregnancy tests that test urine don't show up until after you're at least three weeks along. The best thing to do in any situation when you think you might be pregnant is to go see the doc. If nothing else, she'll tell you that you're stressed out and give you some suggestions on how to relax. But if you are pregnant, it's best to get medical attention as early as possible.

How long since you took a pregnancy test? You maybe pregnant but it may or not be a viable one... If you are pregnant but not producing the hormones necessary to produce a positive test then you may miscarry this happens to women all of the time but they do not even realize that it happend. On the other hand if you took a test too soon you just were not producing enough hormone to detect. Another option you are just late! I know it sucks but sometime you skip a month who knows why. I have been through all 3 scenarios and I hope that things go the way you want and if yoiu are trying to get pregnant good luck!

the store bought ones aren't always right. it could either mean you are pregnant or have an infection. best of luck.
