1- Born on due date at 40 weeks exactly
2- 38 weeks, 6 days (8 days early)
3- 38 weeks, 2 days (12 days early)
4- 40 weeks exactly, born on due date again (what are the odds?)
5- 37 weeks, 1 day (20 days early)
6- 36 weeks exactly (28 days early)
Hard to believe it, but I've never been overdue! (No thumbs down for that, please-- it's all luck!) ;)

My first was 4 days before 40 weeks
My second was 41 weeks and 3 days
My third was directly on the due date
and my fourth was induced at 39 weeks because of all the complications I had with her. I'm hoping I won't have to deal with all those problems with this one.

With my son, which was my first I went into labor at 29 weeks when my water broke. I held out for 5 days in the hospital and had him at 30 weeks. My daughter on the other hand i went over by 4 days. But both were healthy, even my son. So I was very lucky.

42 weeks and one day. (My first baby) We tried to induce with natural methods first: Excercises(mildly effective) castor oil (not effective) nipple stimulation(not effective) herbals blue and black cohosh (counterproductive, actually stopped the few mild contractions I was having) sweeping of the membranes by midwife(most effective, but temporary.) After three days of false starts, I gave up. Then labor started on its own but was very slow and inconsistent, so the midwife swept the membranes again, broke the bag of waters and eventually we resorted to pitocin to augment (speed up) labor. Otherwise my son would still be in there! Just kidding. But when I was born in the 70's, my Mom says she was -get this-43 weeks along I was 10 lbs. Ouch.
PS if it's your first baby it's absolutely normal and common to be born after 40 weeks. Don't rush it. I am a firm believer in letting things happen naturally, but on the other hand I think if you go past 42 weeks they always induce your labor for your baby's and your own safety.

First one - 40 weeks, 2 days
Second - 41 Weeks, 3 days
Both c-sections, neither kids wanted to be born! I was clamped up tight apparently and my body didn't wanna let em go!

I was 38 weeks my baby was coming feet first. So I had my first c-section and my last. It was an difficult pregnancy for me. The joy of finding out everything was ok with the baby I forgot about some of the pain.

I was induced at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure. I went into preterm labor at 30 weeks but got through it with medicine and bed rest.
