I hate Nadines accent lol.. she sounds exactly like me.. well accent way anyway ha. she was born in derry where I live. I so hate that accent ha x

Vast majority of Irish are fantastic welcoming people. I have visited once and had a fantastic time. But like all countries, they have their share of bigots and racists. My best mate, who is English and has lived near Dublin for 5 years with his Irish wife, has been on the receiving end of a few anti-English comments and threats. Mainly at work. On the other hand he has some fantastic irish friends as well who have embraced him as one of their own. I don't see him moving back to England anytime soon, so that must say something about "Irish Charm".

you can not possibly be one or the other - they both come at different times. And as I have not yet been subjected to the 'irish charm' I wouldn't know... But if someone was being nice to me and flirting with me I don't think I'd 'hate' them unless they were an umpa loompa or simon cowel, i guess... lol
