True crime novel?

Im trying to find the title and/or author of this book.

It's a true crime, Non-fiction, its about a girl kidnapped and tortured by a man and his wife, he puts her under a bed for over a year and makes her stay under there, the title has teh letter "k" in it. It was published 15-20 years ago.

Try looking it up on Amazon. They're really good about catagorizing and making things easy.

I think I read that in Psyc... but then we had to read a lot of books like that. all the horrible stuff kind of blended together for me.

Ever read any of Torey Hayden's stuff?

It's true crim written by a teacher who had to witness it all, and usualy do something about it. She's written like 20 some odd books all on diffrent children. I'm reading beautiful child right now. it;s really good. really sucked me in.. even though i was weiry about starting it. she's really good. you shouldlook her up too.
