There is no answer here. So much depends on personal tastes and upbringing. I live in Kifisia for convenience. Pylos is nice and so is Mani. But then so is Pelio and what can I say about Crete or any of the islands in the Aegean or the Ionian? I can not leave out Halkidiki, Zagorohoria, Metsovo, Yiannena with its lake, Edessa with its cataracts. Due to the nature of what I do (diving for ancient wreck with the Hellenic Institute of Marine Archeology) I have been and seen places that are out of this world. Not so much as natural beauty-you can find that anywhere in the world-but because of the magical feeling to walk on the paths of thousands of years of history culture and independent thought. In that sense there is no other place on earth. Living in any part of this magical place is a privilege not just for us Greeks but for anybody with a little bit of brains.

The only thing I know is that my heart belongs to Kardamyli! (My dad comes from there). I live in Athens!
Pylos is great and is very close to Kardamyli!

Volos! It combines beautiful sceneries both mountain and sea and it has very reach history. Very beautiful city!!!!!!!!!
