I want to get one for my grandma's birthday. She owns two horses, both of which she keeps at home.

I am not trying to push an opinion on her- I would not get her the book if she were not interested in alternative treatments. No, her horses are not sick. but herbal remedies can be used for things other than sick horses.

Are the normal remedies not working? This sounds like you are trying to push an opinion on someone. Not a good gift idea. Particularly if her horses aren't sick.

There are books on the market for holistic vet medicine. Go to a book store or book web site and see if you can find it. Buy it.
