Hello, for the games you want to play. I Suggest a DS. But a Ds Lite is not a good chose. It may be smaller and lighter but the screen resolution is way too bright and really hurts the eyes. You can not play on it for very long. The PSP is good for watching Films, internet browsing and listening to music. The games are great. The graphics are good too. But thats more concentrated on moving forward in graphics where as nintendo is about fun. And theres more choice of games!
I suggest you buy a DS. There fun and have wifi and a funky touch screen!!! :D

Yeh the best game console to buy is the Ds by far . The games are much cheaper than the sony psp . Go for it
Plus . The games on psp arnt acctually much better than ds. Plus you cant get any brain training games on psp . Go for the DS !

Get the DS. It has all of the games you mention, and more. The PSP, while a beautiful device, is mostly warmed-over PS2 ports. The PSP is also not as portable-friendly. With the DS, you can just close it any time, even in the middle of a game, then just open it up again later to continue.

I have a psp, and the graphics and sound is the best! The screen is so nice, perfect thin size. I would have to say the psp.
DS is heavy, thick, and not to mention a little confusing!
You can also modify your psp and save a lot of money when it comes to games.

for the games that your wanting to play apart from brain training then i would recomend getting the psp..
any review that i have seen has said that the psp is far superior to the ds for game play, graphics and the amount of games that are available...
plus with the psp you can watch movies on it...
